Thanks to its many sponsors, participants and attendees, the Asheville Food and Environmental Film Festival (AFEFF) 2010, in its inaugural debut:
•screened 17 films
•showcased 14 community organizations and individuals
•presented a farm dinner hosted by 11 participating restaurants, featuring numerous local producers
•collaborated with 6 establishments that participated by providing venues
•hosted 5 filmmakers
•had extensive media coverage, including 8 major newspaper/magazine features and several radio & TV interviews, and ad coverage
•distributed 8000+ printed materials
•had web traffic in the thousands from 25 countries and 38 U.S. states
With a total attendance of nearly 1000 people, some from various states outside of North Carolina, the AFEFF was well received and a great success
